Subject: Prayer Request
Hi Friends & Family,
Rachel has been getting extremely agitated this week and today was no exception. Today, however, she wouldn't calm down and started throwing stuff at me and hurting me. Because she wouldn't back off, we had to call the police. That calmed her down immediately. At first, the police were just going to talk to her, then to us. We opted for no further action at that point, but then she threatened Julie's life with the police present. So... she got handcuffed and taken to Loma Linda mental hospital.
So, our requests would be:
That this would make some difference for her in making better choices.
That God would provide the funds to cover the cost of this.
And of course, whatever else God leads you to pray for our family.
Thank you!
Bret & Julie Miller

Good morning,
Yesterday, my daughter, Evelyn, contacted me to ask for prayer for her boyfriends dad, Michael Glover who will be having open-heart surgery today. Friday, January 27, 2012. I don't have a specific time for the surgery but she wanted me to ask God's people to pray. I would appreciate it if you could get the word out.
Thank you so much, love you,
Renahlee Crow

Hi Prayer Partners,
Alberta just spoke to Judy Young, she has MERSA in her esophagus and trachea. Her Doctor said she is contagious so she will be staying home until this condition clears up. Also, Judy has a strep infection in her lungs. All of the medications are affecting her heart and kidneys and she feels very weak. Please continue praying about Judy’s healing.
Your bro and sis,
Tom and Alberta

Hi Prayer Partners,
Please remember the surgery planned for tomorrow January 25, 2012 for Lynn Felmly at St. Mary’s Hospital in Victorville. The surgery will be to put a stint in the aneurism (which is 5.8 size in size and looks like a pear. After inserting the stint, the plan is to wrap-up the aneurism around the stint to create a new path for safe blood flow. This is not a simple operation so your prayers are appreciated. Thank you on behalf of the Felmly family.
Your bro,
Tom

Hi Prayer Partners,
Yesterday I had a very nice chat with Dewayne White Jr. who sends his regards to all of you and his appreciation for the thoughtful and well planned-out Memorial Service for his Dad. Dewayne also requested prayers on behalf of his wife, Linda. Linda’s sister, Carleta Holden, was hit by a car trying to save a dog from being hit by that car. This happened in Stockton around Thanksgiving time. Carleta has been in ICU all this time and was just recently moved to another area of the hospital. Carleta is still not able to communicate with anyone. Dewayne and Linda appreciate our prayers.
Your bro,
Tom

Hi prayer partners,
Edith Parrish will have surgery next Tues morning to remove the growth in one lung; she will have 7-10 days in hospital; then she will have rehab, hopefully rehab can be in the building in the complex where she lives - she's checking that out. She will have a couple weeks of rehab and then recouping at home for some period of time. She will appreciate your prayers for her and her family during this trying time.
Your bro
Ron

Hi Tom and Alberta,
Thank you for passing on to us the trial you’re having. Our prayers are with you both. May God bless you and get you through these tough times. And by way of update on Jannice. She is slowly recovering but has to be careful not to over-do it when she’s feeling “up.” Whenever she pushes it she has to stop and rest up. So I have to be the “over protective husband.”
Also, I leave on Monday for Washington, DC for meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. As you know, it’s a Summit on Racial Reconciliation and Police Legitimacy. Our son Bradley is also going along with his chief (Pasadena) Phillip Sanchez. Your prayers would be much appreciated!
Thanks and blessings,
Curtis
