Hi everybody,
Thank you so much for your prayers about the Burleson/Cleburne Conference last week.  God really blessed it and I credit your prayers as a BIG factor.   Tom Pickett lead the charge in meeting and praying with the local leaders and helping to bring them together.  Baptist Pastor Charles Dorsett was also a big factor in it along with Director Scott of the Baptist Church Mission Association.   We had lively and effective meetings on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday with multi-ethnic and muti-denominational groups.  Some have homogenous churches and came to learn what they could about diversity and unity. That was admirable! Scott had a room full of pastors share on what their circumstances were in terms of diversity and inter-denominational interaction. Then he asked me to address the issues brought up and offer some solutions. YOUR PRAYERS REALLY CAME IN HANDY!  I felt lead by the Holy Spirit in the solutions. They were well received.  As you know, our focus was CHURCH GROWTH IN A CHANGING WORLD.  Tom, Charles Dorsett and I also went down to the radio station KCLE and made a broadcast.  Thanks again for your prayers and support,
Curtis

Went to DR's Friday and the inflammatory mass is down 80% Wow Isn't God wonderful?  He heard and answered the prayers of the saints, glory to His name, isn't He wonderful. Now with relief I can say glory to God, what a wonderful savior. Now, I need to stay healthy and regain my stamina  to go another 10billion miles or more, or till Christ comes.  Thank youall for diligently seeking God on my behalf.  Lots of love.   Lili

Dear Prayer Partners,
Thank you for your prayers regarding our trip to Cathedral City yesterday.  We did have  a surprise where we were on a road traveling along and all of a sudden came to an unexpected flooded area (water at 18 inches deep for about 200 feet)  with no where to go except straight ahead but we made it through okay.  Thank God!  Right after we went through the area, the road was closed.  As well, Terry and Doris were lovely host and hostess  keeping us in goodies all day plus a wonderful meal as we were with them for six hours doing the year-end paperwork.  We have carefully and conservatively looked at the 2010 Beaumont budget and will share the results with you once we have chatted with the High Desert team.  Thanks again for your prayers.
Your bro and sis,
Tom and Alberta

We wanted to update you on some good news.  Christina Sides and Raymond Woods III have both found jobs to their liking. Congratulations to both.  Also, the Ecker’s car should be fixed by tomorrow afternoon --- the problem seems to be that when the Collision Shop repaired the rear driver’s side door, they somehow drained the battery to the point of killing it’s life.  New battery on order which should solve the problem.  Thanks to their mechanic, Ecker’s have been able to stay active --- went to a wonderful Hemet Bible Study today with no car problems.
Your bro and sis,
Tom and Alberta

Hi everybody,
We had a great MDT Training conference in Oklahoma City last weekend! Mike and Julie Rasmussen are doing a wonderful job as District Leaders. The pastors and congregations were ripe for the Ministry Training. The participation, support, laughter and feedback were very inspiring and strongly supportive to all serving in ORM!! RAH! RAH! For their District!  A number said they want us back.
Thank you so much!
Curtis

Dear Prayer Partners,
I wanted to update you that Jewel and Lelia Love are now home as of Thursday (the 11th) and that Jewel finished his last treatment and he is feeling pretty good.  He even received a Certificate of Completion in a very nice finishing-up ceremony.  Good news to have them back safe and sound and feeling better.

Thank you.
Your bro,
Tom

Please see note below from Lili Patrick --- thanks.
Hi Tom and Alberta:  Isn't God wonderful He answered the prayers of His saints. Thank you for your fervent intercessory prayers the mass is gone, and very little scaring tissue is left. What a Wonderful Savior we have.  He also healed my brother in Spokane Washington of a severe urinary tract infection.  We are still basking in the afterglow.  Isn't He a Glorious Savior and Friend! Thank you for your prayers on my behalf.  Love ya Lili

Hi Tom,
Here’s a brief statement on how the ORM Conference in Dallas went.  Please thank our prayer team. Will share more later in my ORM Monthly Letter.  Praying for Wanda.
Blessings,
Curtis
Please pass on our special thanks to the prayer team. God really blessed the reconciliation conference in farmer's branch (near Dallas, Texas) throughout last weekend!  It was attended by both GCI members and others outside our fellowship.  Our survey shows it was well-received and transformative. A number asked if we can have another conference soon.  We had excellent presenters from GCI and other churches and organizations Including law enforcement and family counseling
Blessings and thanks,
Curtis
